I’ve never believed in resolutions. I mean, you either do something or you don’t, right? You don’t resolve to do something because that never works out.
In past years, I’ve said things like, “I want to develop an appreciation for Jazz,” but I appreciate more music of all genres every year so that was kind of a cop out.
Just today, I wiped the slate clean on the chalkboard where I list little bits of inspiration periodically. It’s a new year, right, so it’s time to start off with something new.
But — and you knew this was coming —we all take the lessons of the past into our futures. I have technology, skills, intelligence, and desire. Those are powerful assets. What am I going to do with them?
in 2014, I am going to create more: more words, more art, more images, more compassion, more passion, more opportunity, more inspiration — more life.
